MiFumigador ("we," "us," or "our") is a platform that helps independent pest control professionals manage their customers, schedule visits, send quotes, and collect payments. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect the personal information of customers who interact with us through their pest control tech's portal.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Contact information: Full name, phone number, email address, and service address.
  • Service information: Visit history, services performed, quotes, and account balance.
  • Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • Communication preferences: Your preferences for receiving SMS and email notifications.
  • SMS consent: Whether you have opted in to receive SMS notifications.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To send you service notifications, payment receipts, visit confirmations, and quotes via SMS or email.
  • To manage your account and service history within your pest control tech's portal.
  • To process payments through our payment provider, Stripe.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. SMS Messaging

By providing your mobile phone number and explicitly consenting through the MiFumigador customer portal, you agree to receive SMS messages from MiFumigador on behalf of your pest control service provider.

These messages may include:

  • One-time verification codes and account authentication messages
  • Service scheduling and appointment updates
  • Visit completion confirmations
  • Service quotes and quote responses
  • Payment receipts and balance updates
  • Customer support and account-related notifications

Message frequency varies based on your account activity and requested services.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message. Upon opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

SMS consent is collected directly from customers through the MiFumigador customer portal before SMS messages are sent.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We may share your information only with the following service providers as necessary to operate the MiFumigador platform:

  • Twilio, our SMS delivery provider, for the purpose of transmitting SMS communications.
  • Stripe, our payment processor, for the purpose of processing payments and payment-related transactions.
  • Your pest control service provider, who has access to customer information necessary to provide requested services.

Mobile information and SMS consent are not shared, sold, rented, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

All service providers are contractually obligated to protect personal information and use it only for the services they provide on our behalf.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your pest control tech maintains an account with MiFumigador, or as required by law. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us.
